Andrew Pearson is the Managing Director of Qualex Asia Limited, a leading implementer of BI, CI, CRM, data warehousing, data modeling, predictive analytics, data visualization, digital marketing, mobile, social media and cloud solutions for the gaming, insurance, finance, healthcare, oil and gas, telecommunication, hospitality and retail industries. Mr. Pearson oversees Qualex Asia’s corporate presence throughout the ASEAN region and he has leveraged Qualex’s expertise to implement software solutions from such vendors as SAS, IBM, SAP, Tableau, Oracle, and Microsoft at some of the world’s biggest casino operators, cruise lines and lottery companies in both Macau, The Philippines and Australia.
Mr. Pearson is an author and has written and edited books on casino marketing, predictive analytics and mobile and social media. In 2009, Mr. Pearson edited the first in the Double Down on your Data series, Clive Pearson’s How Analytics is Revolutionizing the Casino Industry. In 2013, Pearson was invited to write a chapter in Global Mobile: Applications and Innovations for the Worldwide Mobile Ecosystem, a book on mobile technology. The book, which was co-authored by several of the mobile industry’s leading figures, was published in July 2013. Pearson is also a noted columnist, writing on topics like mobile media, social media and cloud technology for such publications as ComputerWorld HK, The Journal of Mobile and Social Media Marketing and The Mobile Marketer, amongst others. Pearson graduated with a degree in psychology from UCLA and is currently working on his third book, Going Mobile: Going Social, which will be published in the summer of 2014.
